   The Bells

St. Giles bell ringers led by Dr. David Atkins (far left)

St. Giles Church has ten bells, the tenor being 18 cwt and 19 lb in the key of E.

The bells were recast from an original eight with two new trebles added by Taylor of Loughborough in 1920.

Currently, St. Giles' has 7 established ringers and 4 learners.

We always extend a warm welcome to new members, experienced or not, to join us in this very rewarding and important activity in Church life...and it's great fun !!
