Over 60 attendees from around the UK enjoyed some North East hospitality at the “As You Like It” bar, followed by an excellent curry supper at Mrs Ali’s Indian Restaurant in Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne.
With prizes for the raffle donated by many local timber companies, the event produced a profit of £904.00 for the newly named North East & Cumbria TTBS Region.
Robert Bruce, TTBS National Vice President and Director of MH Southern Ltd, who organised the evening would wish to thank everyone who attended for their support of this annual event, which has become a firm favourite in the TTBS social calendar. Ivan Savage, TTBS General Manager, addressed the attendees after the supper and thanked them for their continued support and their generosity towards the “timber trades own charity” which provides so much comfort for the TTBS beneficiaries throughout the UK.
