At the February Board of Management meeting held at Smith & Williamson Investment Management, Colmore Row, Birmingham, Ross Bellamy announced his retirement from the TTBS, having commenced involvement in 1967 when he joined the Midlands Region Committee.
He was appointed as Midlands Region President in 1969 and again in 1997 and 2003-2004. He also served the Society as National Treasurer for fifteen years and as an Investment Manager from the inception of the Investment sub-committee, who manage the TTBS investment portfolio in conjunction with the Smith & Williamson Birmingham office.
Ross was appointed as National President in 1986 and subsequently has continued his loyal support of both the Midlands Region and the national body.
Senior Trustee, Ian North thanked Ross for his many years dedicated service to the Society and wished him well for his retirement.
