Text Box: A huge thank you to the many visitors who came from as far afield as Glasgow, Dorset, Plymouth and Liverpool as well as the locals who kept us busy all weekend choosing their favourite scarecrows and eating us out of house and home !   The weather was fantastic and we hope everyone enjoyed it as much as the organisers.   The entries in order of voting are shown below and we will post the pictures shortly.   An even bigger thank you to the wonderful sponsors of the event, whose generous contributions enabled us to cover the outlay for the food and hall hire, without having to tap into the funds coming in from the scarecrow trail entries.  Funds continue to grow, but as at today's date (28th August) we have taken in excess of £5,000 for All Saints' Church funds.   A special vote of gratitude to the superb and inspirational creations that either brought a big smile to visitors' faces, or were very thought provoking - well done Shillington - yet another triumph !!!!    Hope to see you all again soon.   Shillington Scarecrow Committee
