Anatra Anasal
This is the injection moulded Emhar kit.
Prototype is so ugly it wouldn't have looked out of place in the Blackburn factory. Compared to my other models, it's really chunky and cumbersome looking. However, the model does look like the real thing - there are some photos of a real Anasal on the www.wwi-models.org page. |

Paint job is an exercise in streaked finishing. All brushwork with different shades of Tamiya Park Green acrylic, using Tamiya's own thinners to produce paint like a glaze. Several coats applied. I cannot now remember exactly why I did this. The depiction of this machine in Munson's Blandford Colour Series doesn't look all that streaky. |

Rigging is elastic thread secured with superglue. Wheels are horrible clear plastic, but the 'spokes' look more convincing in photographs than they do in real life. |
