The Location of Ardanaiseig

Ardanaiseig is located near to Oban, about 1.5 hours north-west of Glasgow. The hotel is usually reached by car but a train can be taken to Taynuilt and there it is only 20 minutes by car.

Common Routes to Ardanaiseig

• From GLASGOW to ARDANAISEIG:

1. Approaching Glasgow on the M74 turn onto the M73 at junction 4.
2. At junction 2 on the M73 turn west onto the M8.
3. Stay on the M8 until junction 30 and turn onto the M898 over the Erskine Toll Bridge.
4. Once over the bridge turn west onto the A82.
5. Follow the A82 up past Loch Lomond but watch for the A82 turning right at Tarbet!
6. Stay on the A82 through Crainlarich but turn west onto the A85 near Tyndrum.
7. Follow the A85 to Lochawe town and continue on past Cruachan Power Station.
8. Once you reach the outskirts of Taynuilt take the B845 on the left to Ichrachan and Kilchrenan.
9. Follow down the road for 8 km until you reach Kilchrenan and turn left in front of the pub called 'Kilchrenan Inn'.
10. Follow along this road for 4 km where the hotel entrance will be straight ahead.

• From the London Area:

1. Follow the A1 north until the M62. Turn West on the M62 and then north on the M1/M621 into Leeds. Follow the A65 from Leeds city centre all the way to the M6. Go north on the M6/M74 to Glasgow. See above for Glasgow/Ardanaiseig.
2. Follow the M1 north until Leeds. Follow the A65 from Leeds city centre all the way to the M6. Go north on the M6/M74 to Glasgow. See above for Glasgow/Ardanaiseig.
3. Follow the M40 north to the M42 and M6. Go north on the M6/M74 to Glasgow. See above for Glasgow/Ardanaiseig.

• From the Leeds Area:

Follow the A65 to the Dales and then the M6. Follow north until Glasgow.

There are flights from Leeds/Bradford to Glasgow for £115.60 with BMI but you may prefer to drive at that cost!
