Gerard McChrystal, saxophone
Craig Ogden, guitar

The programme will have music influenced by dance rhythms of South American with works by Piazzolla,Celso Machado, Iain Ballamy, and Jaime Zenamon. The composers may not all be familiar but the styles will be. The Celtic inspired Shannon Suite by Ciaran Farrell contrasts with atmospheric pieces from Poland and Australia by Marek Pasieczny and Stuart Grennbaum. Jazz inspired works by Andy Scott and Ulrich Schultheiss complete the programme.

The beauty of the music is that it has been performed at The Wigmore Hall , London and the Sugar Club, Dublin.

The Irish Times wrote:
"McChrystal's saxophone swings acrobatically from high octane celebration to sweet and low down melancholy in one and the same breath, wheedling more and more layers of complexity from Ogden's distilled guitar lines."

Programme:

Andy Scott - Nemesis
Stuart Greenbaum - Cloud Eight
Ciaran Farrell - The Shannon Suite
Astor - Figment
Celso Machado - Pe de Moleque from Music Populaires Brilliennes
Marek Pasieczny - Winter's Tale
Ulrich Schultheiss - No Rest
