Message:	RWM, Past Masters, Worshipful Wardens and Brethren, please accept my personal thanks for those that attended our annual installation on 14th Feb 2009, the day before your actual 150th inauguration by the then office bearers of Ancient Brazen on 15th Feb 1859.    In my term in office, I would like to renew the historical links between our lodges. This process has well and truly began with RWM Bro David Thomson attending our installation and representing the visitors and replying to the Visitor Toast at our festival of St John.    I would also like to congratulate you on the 3rd degree delivered by the office bearers at The Douglas Lodge 409 on Thu 19th Feb - an excellent and somewhat different interpretation than that of our own and i would be delighted if you would consider conferring a 3rd degree at Lodge Ancient Brazen, some time after the summer recess.

Message:	Very pleased to find your web site, as I believe my great-grandfather may have been a member in the period c. 1910-1920. His name was George Wright, and the only real evidence I have to go with regarding his membership is a reference made at his funeral in 1949, which I have a written report of ( I was six yrs.old at the time). I do know that he was resident in Grangemouth early in the 20th century, until he left for the USA with my grandparents and my infant father in 1921 or 1922. I am presently serving as Master of Lafayette Lodge #47 in Cumberland, Rhode Island, and am most pleased and enthralled to make contact with Masonic brethren anywhere. Message:	Tommy, This is a nice re-vamp of the website. It was good to see you (very) briefly the other week there. Glad to see that you're not being worked too hard.    Here's my ulterior motive for a visit - Nothing drastic, just a gentle reminder to all Zetland bretheren that the work day for Lodge maintenance is on the second saturday of each calendar month, even during the closed season. I'll be there unless I'm out of the country with tools and the list of jobs needing done. We'll be there pretty much the same time that the bar is open in the afternoon & we won't work you too hard, but all assistance is gratefully accepted.    Roll on the start of the Season.    Dave Thompson  Worshipful Junior Warden
