Message:  Darling Lucia,
This delightful website has given me much joy. I know we
work you greatly but could you possibly persuade Miss Coles
to show some of her many great works of art on this site. I
am particularly desirous to see her rendition of 'Adam' and,
of course, the later picture of you with your piano and
 bicycle,

 Your affectionate servant,

 Miss McQueen.

Message:  I discovered Benson's work long ago and then became a fan
of Mapp and Lucia. We spend the Spring and Summer at our
house near Cliveden and will entertain the guests who
introduced us to Benson this Spring with a surprise outing
to Rye. I would appreciate any advice in advance of our
 visit. Thank you. Robert Giebeig

Message:  Hi,

I am just getting back after a very long sabatical. Do
feel welcomed to drop in. I don't have a guestbook and
don't know if I will be able to get one. Will have to
look into it. Anyway it is nice to be back checking up on
the Benson sites. His birthday is coming up soon.

Message:  As winter soon approaches, I have decided to find an
interesting indoor hobby to keep my mind occupied while I
watch the Mapp & Lucia videos. I have decided to make a
 miniature room of Mallard's House at a 1" = 1' scale.
This will be a represetational view complete with
electrified lights and furniture. I hope to have it
completed by the end of winter and will gladly send a
 photo.

Message:  Dear Darren and Jon, Thank you so very much for hosting
yet another delightful and resplendant celebration at Rye
this year. Such a worthwhile day. We so enjoyed Nicholas
Grace's rendition of of that very fine NEW
production 'Lucia in New York',- whoever can be the clever
author? The Hitum dinner was magnificent as ever. Alex
MacColl Smith was truly the most accomplished of urbane
English after dinner speakers...what a find! Nice to see
such a growing crowd of cheerful, jolly new friends. Keep
up your valuable good work in this mad and depressing
world - you keep us sane!

Message:  I just discovered E.F.Benson and love Mapp & Lucia. It is
so hard to find other Benson books. Alibris is the only
place I've found a few. I haunt any old book store looking
for some. Any info would be appreciated. It's a delight to
escape into their world, and rest the weary imagination.

Message:  Lucia has got me through some difficult times and I will
always love escaping to Tilling until the end of my days.
I'm just sorry Cpt. Peacock was ommitted from the TV
series, otherwise it was a fine job; well cast.
Much love to all Tilling fans.

Message:  What a wonderful site! I have only recently discovered
dear Lucia and Georgie but I already think of them as old
friends. It is so nice to be able to find a website like
this as I live in a rural area where no one reads much and
I am quite alone! Please keep up the beautiful work.
