Message:  God I wish I was at the standard of this band.
However, I enjoy playing brass music and intend to
carry on even if I have to go on stage with my
zimmer frame complete with basket for my
euphonium. Oh and of course, milk bottle glasses,
oxygen mask for any bars rest, and not forgetting
my incontinence pads for the high notes. Bet
you're glad I am a crap player and not in your
 band lol.

Years ago I played (Oboe) in EASO, and whilst

Message:  I was searching thr site of Boarshurst Brass Band,
Greenfield, where 25 years ago I was on the
committee, but left England to come and live in
Holland. When I was searching just by chance I came
across flowers Brass Band, and click on to your
site. Then on to the videos, and when I listened
to the music it was out of this world, Out of the
Brass Band Music and great to listen to. I turned
the speakers up on the computor and from down stairs
there was a shout turn that music down, it was the
old girl she is not into the music. Where acvtually
does your band come from I did,t have a full look at
the site with listening to the music. I live in
Heemskerk, North Holland.25 km from Amsterdam. In
the villag next to me there is a dutch Brass Band
called Felison Brass, and they have just had a big
write up in the local paper saying they are going to
England for the Whit Friday Band Contests, and on
the Saturday night they are playing a concert in the
Boarshurst Band room., This is what I miss more
has i lived in Saddleworth and always looked forward
to Whit Friday, but I am to old to go baack now so I
have to find it on you tube. Hope you don,t mind me
writing to you but the music was great.
Thank you very much Michael Wood North Holland.

numbers. I thought the piece that closed the
first half was worth the ticket price on its

slant to the bands numbers. By the way I've
bought a couple of your CD's including your latest

How are ya? Love the French Open piccies,
especially the ones of us 4. Aren't you lucky to
have such lovely people in your brass band. We
have some tres interesting piccies of our own,
but they'll cost you a tenner. Vive le Flowers xxx

Cheltenham Town Hall in Nov. and went to the Xmas

You seem to have more dates on your site than were
shown in the programme so I'd like to be kept up to
 date. Thanks, super band. David
