Message:  My husband and I drove up from Ipswich today, 16 Oct, to the Norfolk Ideal Home Show in the hope of seeing some bathroom layouts as we are planning to have a new shower unit fitted and the bath taken away. We were disappointed to find nothing on show, but my disappointment was soon forgotten when we sat and watched your demonstrations. I felt you had got everything absolutely right - your professionalism and humour blended very well. Thank you very much I thoroughly enjoyed it and we will look out for you next time you are in East Anglia.

It is with great regret that we have heard of your retirement. Although we can understand, it will be a long time before we will find anywhere to match your standards and friendlyness.
If you ever come out of retirement please let us know we will be there where ever it is. But otherwise we both wish you the very best for the future and may it be long and happy. Thank you for all the good food you will be missed
 Best regards

Message:  Just to say how much I enjoy you on BBC Essex. You take the mystique(probably spelt that incorrectly!) out of cooking and inspire us all to 'have a go'. Look forward to visiting Scotts next month to taste your cooking in person. Just printed out the menu and my mouth is watering already! Many thanks Beryl for your most enjoyable contribution to Sound Advice, from an avid 'student'

Message:  I visited Friday 23rd Feb with my long term friend Enid McBurney. I had heard a lot about your restaurant so was really looking forward to the evening and I wasn't disappointed. To be honest I could have eaten all the starters and all the main courses! (but not in one go!) I've given John (my husband) the lowdown as the scout so we hope to see you soon. P.S. the puds were lovely (and I'm not a 'pud person') and the coffee and treats super - not to mention the loos!
