Message:  I discovered Wales and his beauty in spring of
1995. I was staying over for work in Cardiff
for six weeks. On a sunny weekend I made the
voyage by train and by bus towards Laugharne
all by my self and I did enjoy the effort as
well as the view from the boathouse to the
wather and the green hills. I remember writing
to my girlfriend in Flanders having been
impressed by the sight and changing view due to
the changing tides...miracles came by my sight
and even in my dreams I became that poët witch
I am by accident. Oh yes, I did return to Wales
a year later, but as a good friday never brings
goodluck I still remember the blessings of that
silly day, and walking by seaside of Tenby I
reached my destiny with a broken leg and
painfull head. Walking by the sea I spoke to
God : You were joking, look at me, walking
alone by the sea in confidence that my destiny
was to be alive...I did survive...my tears were
left at Clairence hotel, but my memory of my
walking conversation with God will last
forever...Yes I write spiritual poetry and
these are offerings of love..what poetry really
 is.All my love.Luc Loeys

Message:  Thanks for a great job! I traveled via train
from London over to Swansea in the early 1990s
and enjoyed every moment. One of the nicest
things that happened to me was that I
approached the post office there where I wanted
to purchase stamps for my collection. At that
time the postal worker asked if I would be in
Swansea the next day. I told her that I was
scheduled to return to London via train within
an hour or so. She then told me that a
collector's book of stamps and inforrmation on
Wales would be for sale beginning the following
morning. To make a long story short, I paid
her for the item and before I returned to my
home in Georgia, my wonderful stamp book was at
home waiting for me. Such a pleasant
experience! My dad's ancestors sailed from
Swansea in 1638. My children are 13th
 generation Americans.

This was my one and only trip to see my

During our trip to the UK, my aunt and uncle
drove us to Swansea because that is where my
mother grew up. She is 91 years old now, but
I'll never forget her happiness while showing
me Caswell Bay (where she ran into a childhood

her old school at the top, and much, much

Thank you for this web site. I intend to show

end, I can once again travel to this most
  wonderful place on earth!

 country.

I often thought there out to be a remake
of "How green was my valley" by Richard
Llewellyn with you as the female lead, Sir
Anthony Hopkins as the father and Sarah
Michelle Gellar as the younger sister and
predominately Welsh cast. It would be better
if the book sequels were also filme, eh!

I am often disappointed that "The rape of the
fair country" by Alexander Cordell has not been
filmed - what a shame! Again, you would be
good as the female lead, eh!

Once again, I enjoy your acting so keep up the
 good work!

 With all best wishes!
