Message:	Our very first weekend away in our caravan. Kids  disappeared in front of our eyes. Only to reappear for  food and drink,(or toilet). Everyone was welcoming, from  the friends we know already, and new ones gained.  Kids loved the pyjama party, and the woodland walk too.  Sorry also to Mike for humiliating him on the horseshoe  toss, in only my second ever game. Must have been  beginners luck. (lol, yeah right!).  The last thanks go to the teenagers who (in the rain)  helped me put down the awning.  All in all. good times had, and counting down till we can  get away again.

Message:	Hi all  Thanks to everyone who put so much into the weekend at Dale  Hey Farm.  This was a weekend that was fun packed - apart from the  rain yesterday!  We had walks, socials, games and even a "Soak the Chairman"  on the Sunday afternoon.  The Secaretary for the National Search and Rescue Dog  Association came to give us a talk about the Charity that  we are supporting this year.  Funds were raised this weekend towards the charity - we  raised around £200 - thanks to everyone.  It was really good to see so many vans out - we had 51  units. Some new to DA camping and others who have been DA  camping for many years.  It was good to see the Wood and Hutchinson families and  that they all enjoyed their experiences. As they said we  made them feel very welcome - this is what we as a DA  always do. But what we don't always do is to put on as many  activities as we had this weekend.  :-)  Take care and good camping to all!  Richard D  Chairman

Message:	Had a really great meal last Friday at the Owls in  Standish.  Thanks everyone for coming it was great to see so many  people.  But the most thanks must go to Anne and Mike for arranging  the meal.  Food was good and I think all enjoyed the evening.  Thanks to Lyn for the photos of Margaret, Debbie, Gary and  Eddy with the Ball in the Jar Trophy.
