Message:	Firstly i would like to say  that Gnosall is a delight  to the community, and it  has still kept various  traditional aspects within  it's foundations as well  as introducing modern  facilities, such as the  new doctors sugery.    However, evenings in  Gnosall are what i have  to admit to as "tedious".  On a warm summers  nights i often go for a  walk through the main  areas of the villiage  which notoriously should  be quiet lively, (The High  Street), and on the  occassions i visit this  particular area there is  little action and  entertainment at all. This i  feel a big loss to  Gnosall's reputation.    Yes, Gnosall's  appearance during the  day is satisfying, but  during the night this is  not so.    Would someone please  add a bit more colour to  Gnosall on the evenings,  and who knows it might  drum up alot of trade  from visitors or from the  surrounding community.

Message:	Whilst doing a search for  Aqualate Hall I came  across a message from  James Halligan  requesting information  about Aqualate Hall. My  grandfather, William  Payne, oversaw the  alterations to the house  1928 -1930 for Mrs  Norris who had inherited  the house. The work  involved removal of the  second floor and the  building of a new roof  over the first floor. My  father, who was at  boarding school, used to  spend his holidays at the  house - sailing on the  lake and learning from  the estate keepers  especially a man named  Medlicott and Mr Smith  the head gardener.  Hope this is of interest, I  can get more information  if required

Halsey and his wife.  My mother and sister  were billetted in a house  opposite "The Boat", but  after a while we were all  put together in a house  at Audmore End next to  the Italian POW camp.  That'll do for now. Message:	Hi    I stayed in Gnosall one  summer in the sixties  (post stone age). I  thought it was a very  nice place. I lived with  the Tomkinson family at  place called Manor  House. I really had a  great time there. Now I  live in a very small village  in the northern part of  Sweden.  We’ve had broadband  for a year now and it’s  working great. No  company wanted to  install ADSL so we had  to form an IT-society  with 150 members and  dig our own 100 mbit  opto fibre network. So  now we get great  performance for just  over 10 pounds a month !  Looking forward to see  more interesting stuff on  your website.    Regards Per G

Message:	Since my last post about  none of the Gnosall fast  food joints being listed, I  see nothing has changed.    So maybe if i provide the  information it will be  listed!!    Pizza Man is 1 Station  Road Gnosall, 823388  We also have a great  indian, chinese and  chippy - none listed!!!    However in the directory  listings you may be  intersted in contacting  Sunnyside Flowers and  MACE stores (both  which must have closed  down well over a year  ago)!!!    Is there REALLY a  webmaster for this site,  or is he a  ghhhooossssttt ??

Message:	Why not try and encourage villagers to  register for broadband in Gnosall, even  if they dont want it ultimately -  theres no obligation to take up the  service when its installed at the  exchange - but all those wanting it  would at least be able to have it!    People power can be quite effective :o)
